W&R Vets: helping vets get back to better
UPDATE - Operation Ruptured Duck 3 - spectator jump - noon saturday 8 November - Culpeper, VA
W&R Vets partners with WW2 C-47 “Placid Lassie”, Old House Winery of Culpeper Virginia, and 550 Cord Inc to honor Veterans with parachute operations at “Operation Ruptured Duck 2025”. The event will be at Old House Vineyard, 18351 Corkys Ln, Culpeper, VA 22701 (map)
Proceeds for the event will go to Veteran Nonprofits: 550 Cord Inc and Fisher House.
Spectator jump is scheduled for Saturday November 8th about noon. There will be activities on site for spectators and kids to learn about World War II Paratroopers, their mission and their equipment. You will want to be on site before the drops to make sure you have tile to park and find a good place to watch. The jumps will take about an hour (as always depending on the weather). Bring a folding chair.
